Prior to co-founding Hynes & Khater, Ferdy served as Chief Technology Officer of United Airlines and previously held multiple leadership positions focused on customer technology, airline alliances, and joint ventures. He began his aviation career at Continental Airlines in 1987.

He has more than 25 years of industry experience, including leadership roles at Continental Airlines and United Airlines, where he led major digital transformation initiatives and executed the largest passenger service system migration in aviation history.

Prior to joining Hynes & Khater, he served as Managing Director of Architecture at United Airlines, where he helped define the architectural direction for the airline’s core systems, integrations, and technology foundations. His experience spans passenger service systems, payments, ticketing, fulfillment, DevOps, solution foundations, and enterprise integration. Robert played a leadership role in the Continental and United merger, managing complex migration activities across global teams.
